What Our Customers Say About Us

"It was the first time my two friends and I dined at Nalan. We didn't know what to order so we asked their staff, Ram, for his recommendations. He was very friendly and helpful. While we were eating, Ram came to check on us and asked if we liked the food. He also patiently answered our questions when we were curious about the ingredients in the dishes we were eating. The three of us enjoyed the food so much. All the dishes were so aromatic and flavourful. With good food and impeccable service, we will definitely be back again to try other dishes."

"Sudha was very friendly, seeing that we were a little lost on how to eat the Thali, she came over and gave us some recommendations on how to do so.Food was amazing, the Palak Paneer is wonderful, pairs well with chapati, the Dahi Papdi has a great blend of sweet, sour and savoury. The Butter Milk was something new to us, a refreshing youghurt-like drink that's savoury and sour.Definitely would come here again!"

Dahi Puri:abolutely my favorite dish! The puris boast a delightful crispness as soon as they’re served, and the sauces are remarkably fresh. I’m so thrilled with this dish that I’ve decided to come back and sample all the different flavors available.Tandoori Platter:A great choice for newcomers or smaller groups, as it offers a diverse tasting experience across various dishes. It’s a culinary introduction to the flavors of tandoori cooking.Tofu:the tofu was thick and packed with intense flavors, offering a robust texture that might appeal to those who prefer a hearty bite.Cauliflower and Mushrooms: These are typically my preferred ingredients; however, this time they were disappointing with an unusual sourness that didn’t taste right. Both my friend and I detected an odd plastic-like flavor, suggesting they weren’t cooked properly. Despite this, the other ingredients in the dish were good and enjoyable. We dined here on May 3rd.Broccoli Cakes:Similar in flavor profile to the tofu, these were pleasing and complemented the meal nicely.Naan: The naan is consistently delicious, never failing to impress with its tastiness. Service: The service was adequate, though it fell short on attentiveness as we had to request wa ter refills multiple times.Environment:The restaurant maintains a clean and spacious setting, cr eating an inviting atmosphere for dining.Location: Its proximity to the MRT station makes it in credibly convenient for visitors, enhancing its accessibility

I recently dined at Nalan and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The ambiance was perfect - a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary.I can't recommend Nalan highly enough. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a memorable meal with friends and family, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning soon! Its near by MRT take exit D and walk through fifty meters Thanks to Nalan team!!!

Lovely food here. The best quality north and south Indian vegetarian food you can find. The quantity was also not so bad. The fried rice is a must try.

This restaurant is conveniently located on the main road, making it easy to reach. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a clean environment and well-maintained tables and cutlery. The service is excellent—attentive and friendly. The only downside is that the portion sizes are a bit small for the price. However, it's a great option for pure vegetarians, offering a satisfying dining experience overall.

Been hearing good things about Nalan and a few of us decided to go there for dinner. The menu was rather extensive and we were spoilt for choices, we had the staff recommend us some of their eats. The foods were delicious and flavourful. We enjoyed our dinner. My favourites were the puri and assorted platter.

Went here 3 times in less than 2 months as our first experience was very very good. We enjoyed the food and overall experience however last 2 visits were below expectations as the food lacked taste, service was delayed (due to weekend). The staff seems pleasant and humble always however the restaurant must look at hiring more people to manage the weekend rush.

The restaurant serves delicious North Indian cuisine in a clean and welcoming environment. The service is prompt and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed the tandoori roti, butter paneer, sweet corn fries, and Gobi Manchurian. A must-try is their tea, which is absolutely delightful!Very good vegetarian only restaurant serving North India style cuisine.

Recommend? Yes, if you’re in the area.I didn’t find the food to be exceptional, but it wasn’t bad either. I ordered the gobi Manchurian dry and the channa masala. The channa masala was as expected. The gobi Manchurian dry was listed on the menu as “spicy, sweet, and tangy sauce” but I find that it was lacking in the sweet aspect.
